About
Born and raised in Shibuya, Kai blends analog textures with digital precision — moving between the DJ booth and the projection screen with equal fluency.
His sets draw from dub techno, ambient, and broken beat, layered with real-time generative visuals he codes and performs live. He’s held residencies at Contact Tokyo and WWW, and has shown AV installations at teamLab Borderless and Ars Electronica.
When he’s not performing, Kai runs a small label called Mono·Drift, championing emerging artists at the intersection of music and code.
